Origins and Founders:

Originated on the Makyo Star located in the North Galaxy. The Star is destroyed by Gohan during the Garlic Jr. Saga.

Specific traits:

The Makyo-jin had the ability to transform into larger, more powerful forms. The spice boys, Garlic's first henchmen, had the ability to pull sword-like appendages out of their bodies. The skin color varied, but each had noticably long and pointy ears.

The average Makyo-jin lifespan is over 300 years.

The Makyo-jin gain power from the Makyo Star. The closer they are to the Star, the more powerful they become. (This explains how Garlic Jr. gets a huge power boost from movie #1 to the Garlic Jr. Saga.)
